LorongNews.com | Jakarta – Upaya untuk memperjuangkan kesetaraan gender dan pemberdayaan perempuan akan menjadi fokus prioritas Women20 (W20) Presidensi Indonesia tahun ini.

Sebagai salah satu Engagement Group dari Group of Twenty (G20), W20 berharap para pemimpin negara/pemerintahan menempatkan kesetaraan gender dan pemberdayaan perempuan sebagai pusat diskusi global dalam jalur pemulihan ekonomi pasca Covid-19, mempromosikan pembangunan berkelanjutan, dan investasi untuk pertumbuhan inklusif.

“W20 Presidensi Indonesia ingin mendorong komitmen para pemimpin negara/pemerintahan untuk menempatkan kesetaraan gender dan pemberdayaan perempuan sebagai pusat diskusi global terkait pemulihan ekonomi pasca Covid-19. Selain itu juga butuh komitmen untuk mengurangi diskriminasi terhadap perempuan untuk berpartipasi aktif dalam pemulihan masa pandemi Covid-19,” papar Chair Women20 Indonesia, Hadriani Uli Silalahi secara hybrid, Kamis, (10/2/2022).

Lebih lanjut, Uli menambahkan, W20 Presidensi Indonesia juga ingin mendorong para pemimpin negara-negara G20 untuk membuka akses perempuan untuk dapat berpartisipasi aktif dalam perekonomian. Perlu juga dipastikan tidak ada lagi perempuan yang termarjinalisasi dalam pemulihan pembangunan. Dan terakhir, perlunya membuka akses setara dalam layanan kesehatan bagi perempuan.

“Misi utama W20 Presidensi Indonesia adalah untuk mempengaruhi komitmen tingkat tinggi yang akan dikeluarkan pada G20 Summit (Communique) agar memuat agenda pemberdayaan perempuan dan kesetaraan gender di negara-negara G20. Apalagi, pada beberapa Kepresidenan G20 sebelumnya, fokus gender dalam keseluruhan deklarasi masih kecil, tidak pernah melebihi 8 persen,” imbuh Uli.

Menurutnya, salah satu komitmen terbesar tentang kesetaraan gender pernah disampaikan dalam Komunike Pemimpin G20 pada tahun 2014. Ketika itu, para pemimpin G20 menyetujui tujuan untuk mengurangi kesenjangan dalam tingkat partisipasi kerja antara laki-laki dan perempuan di negara-negara G20 sebesar 25 persen pada tahun 2025.

Sementara itu Co-Chair W20 Presidensi Indonesia, Dian Siswarini menyatakan bahwa dari sudut pandang global diplomacy, dengan memegang presidensi G20 dan W20, berarti Indonesia menempatkan diri sebagai sentral diplomasi di antara 20 negara ekonomi terbesar dengan berpegang pada penyelesaian empat isu prioritas dari W20.

“Engagement Group W20 ini juga diharapkan mampu mengaktifkan gerakan mau pun pemikirin baru dari perempuan, bukan hanya di ranah global tapi juga di dalam negara anggota G20 sendiri dengan didukung oleh best practices sebagai katalis,” tutur Dian.

Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut di atas, agenda W20 Presidensi Indonesia selama setahun ini akan mengangkat empat isu prioritas. Pertama, mendorong kesetaraan, keamanan, dan kesejahteraan dengan menghapus diskriminasi yang menghambat partisipasi perempuan dalam perekonomian. Kedua, mencapai inklusi ekonomi dengan mendukung UMKM yang dimiliki dan dikelola oleh perempuan. Ketiga, mengatasi kerentanan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan dengan fokus pada perempuan penyandang disabilitas dan perempuan pedesaan. Keempat, tanggapan kesehatan yang setara gender.

Selain itu, posisi Indonesia juga diharapkan dapat semakin mendekatkan rakyat Indonesia khususnya daerah yang menjadi tempat pelaksanaan agenda G20 juga W20 kepada proses diplomasi. Dengan demikian, Indonesia akan semakin dikenal karena keberagamannya, menarik kunjungan wisatawan, hingga membuka kesempatan investasi yang didukung dengan program-program yang akan dibentuk selama presidensi.

Likupang sebagai side event pertama W20 Rangkaian agenda W20 Presidensi Indonesia, sebagai salah satu engagement group dalam G20, akan segera dimulai.

Mengangkat beberapa isu terkait pemberdayaan perempuan, forum W20 akan dibagi ke dalam beberapa agenda utama yang disebut Women20 Summit dan agenda tambahan atau side events. Kawasan wisata Likupang di Minahasa Utara, Sulawesi Utara akan menjadi lokasi side event pertama W20 yang berlangsung 14-16 Februari 2022.

Pada pertemuan pertama ini, yang digelar secara hybrid, akan hadir sekitar 150 orang peserta termasuk perwakilan dari para negara anggota G20 yaitu Amerika Serikat, Argentina, Brasil, Australia, Kanada, Meksiko, Turki, Indonesia, Korea Selatan, Jepang, China, Jerman, Inggris, India, Arab Saudi, Afrika Selatan, Italia, Indonesia, Prancis, Rusia, ditambah Uni Eropa, akan hadir memberikan opening presentation antara lain adalah Bathylle Missika yang merupakan Head of Division-Networks, Partnerships and Gender, OECD Development Centre. Pembicara lain adalah Prof Mari Miura yang merupakan Professor of Political Science Sophia University sekaligus committee member W20 Jepang, lalu Salma Al Rashid, sebagai W20 Sherpa Arab Saudi, dan Martina Rogato, sebagai W20 Sherpa dari Italia.

Selanjutnya, penyampaian perspektif dan rekomendasi akan dilakukan oleh Minah Kang dari South Korea, Nursyahbani Katjasungkana dan Andy Yentriyani dari Indonesia, serta Erin Watson dari Australia.

Selain itu, akan turut hadir secara langsung untuk memberikan opening speech di lokasi pertemuan adalah Menteri Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Republik Indonesia, Bintang Puspayoga, Duta Besar Australia untuk Indonesia, Penny Williams, CoSherpa G20 Indonesia, Dian Triansyah Djani, Gubernur Sulawesi Utara, Olly Dondokambey, dan Ketua Umum Kowani, Dr. Ir. Giwo Rubianto Wiyogo M.Pd.

Pemilihan Likupang sebagai lokasi side events dari W20 Presidensi Indonesia diharapkan dapat ikut mengenalkan destinasi wisata unggulan ini ke dunia internasional.

Likupang sendiri merupakan salah satu Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) yang juga telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah sebagai destinasi wisata super prioritas. Saat ini pembangunan ekosistem wisata terpadu sedang dibangun di sana, dan diharapkan akan mampu menjadi destinasi wisata kelas dunia.

Seluruh agenda W20 Presidensi Indonesia hingga Oktober 2022 nantinya akan digelar secara bertahap di beberapa titik destinasi prioritas di Indonesia. Pelaksanaannya bekerja sama dengan International Knowledge Partners, badan PBB, organisasi masyarakat sipil, akademisi, badan pemerintah hingga sektor swasta.

Setelah di Likupang, Side Events W20 Presidensi Indonesia hingga W20 Summit akan dilaksanakan di Batu, Jawa Timur, dan Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan pada Maret 2022, Manokwari, Papua Barat, pada Mei 2022, Danau Toba, Sumatera Utara pada Juli 2022, dan Denpasar, Bali pada September – Oktober 2022.
